Inspired by Twilight Zone: The Movie and The Outer Limits, Beyond the Embers: Volume I, written and directed by Bellamie Bachleda and Dack Virnig, is an anthology of four short but bizarre tales loosely tied within an equally hair-raising central story. Follow easygoing but reserved Frank and doomsday prepper Bill- the best buddies and their girlfriends, impish Amy and paranoid new girl Samantha- on an overnight hiking trip that ends up being out of this world.

The four curious stories told among the group include greedy debtors who owe a fiendish stranger a hefty due, a young woman who witnesses a murder in a dreamy premonition, a family with dark secrets and a disastrous plan, and the revelation of the mysterious disappearance of Frank's sister. The fine line between truth and tale dissolves as they uncover an ultimate discovery which is just as unsettling as the tales they tell.

The first in a film series from ASL Films. All net proceeds will benefit ABC ASL in collaboration with Dell Children’s Medical Center. Admission is $11, (English Subtitles) Tickets/info: Email Theron Parker. Tickets will be sold at the door if Available DVD's will be available for sale.
